The Veazy Vaporizer is a new compact portable vaporizer from Storz & Bickel which copies the design and typeform of the Venty in a smaller package. The Veazy is more sleek and compact removing the premium features of the Venty such as the LED display screen and utilizing a smaller battery. Like the Crafty+ the Veazy is a single button controlled vaporizer which relies on the S&B Web App to adjust temperature and other control features. Available in four colors the Veazy promises to be the most portable Storz & Bickel Vaporizer yet. This is also the second truly new vaporizer Storz & Bickel has given us rather quickly after the Venty release. If you have been following the company at all you will know they do not release new models very often. So let’s dive in to the Veazy Vaporizer and see how it stacks up against the rest of Storz & Bickel Portable Vaporizers.
Price

Coming in at $249 this is Storz & Bickel’s best price yet. For a Storz & Bickel portable vaporizer this is $30 lower than the Crafty+ which boasts similar properties and a whole $200 cheaper than the Venty which the Veazy is modeled after. This is priced well to compete with other top of the line portable vaporizers. Feel like Storz & Bickel is trying to make their devices more accessible to more consumers at this price point. They are a luxury brand and the devices are well made so there is a reason they are more expensive. If you use the link above you will get a good discount and a free grinder as well as 60 day trial period and lifetime trade ins in case the Veazy is not for you.
Packaging
The packaging is standard and simple. The design of the packaging is alot more fun with the multi-colored waves of the different colors the Veazy comes in: Black, Pink, Blue and Orange. The box is nothing special but will serve great for storage and protection. The Veazy is a vaporizer you will likely want to get a case since the packaging is not that special or ergonomic. I would still save the packaging for resale should you ever want to part with or trade in your Veazy.
Comes With

Keeping with the minimalistic packaging the Veazy comes with the bare essentials and two bonus knick knacks. You will not need anything else to get going right out of the box and keep your Veazy clean and running smooth for a few weeks to months.
- Filling Chamber Tool
- USB-C Cable
- Dosing Capsule
- Extra Screens
- Cleaning Brush
- Instructions
Everything I can think of that I would add to the Veazy would be a more premium accessory that Storz & Bickel would not be able to add to the device without charging a premium. I know in the hay days of dry herb vaporizers your purchase would come with an assortment of smoke shop accessories. Now they have really dialed that back with 1.) most customers not even using them but 2.) the costs they added to production. I would pick up the Veazy Case and a water pipe adaptor or mini bubbler. The latter not being available yet with the Veazy just coming out.
Build & Design

The Veazy copies the winning formula of the rest of Storz & Bickel line up. The Veazy Body & Cooling Unit is made of PEEK, a highly durable thermoplastic used across the S&B ecosystem. The Herb Chamber is a stainless steel base with a ceramic coating. The patented hybrid heating system is the same conduction and convection mini heater used on the Venty but in a smaller capacity. The Veazy consists of two main components: the body and the cooling unit. The ceramic-coated herb chamber sits at the top of the body, with the power button positioned on the front and a USB-C charging port conveniently placed on the left side. The cooling unit secures with a simple quarter-turn fastener, not a traditional screw, but a turn-and-lock mechanism that aligns neatly with the body’s hinges. The swivel mouthpiece folds out for use and retracts back into place with the same smooth motion. When comparing the Veazy to the Venty or even Crafty+ it feels a tad cheaper in the hand. While they are all made of the same PEEK material the Veazy feels the most plastic out of the entire line up. The Venty feels tremendously more sturdy and durable compared to the Veazy. Storz & Bickel portable vaporizers are the only vaporizers to carry a medical classification in the EU, Israel, Canada and Australia. I will say however there are other vaporizers built to the same medical standards which simply do not seek to go through the process to gain the medical classification. The Veazy is also the first Storz & Bickel Portable Vaporizer to be offered in an assortment of colors. They had released limited edition colors for their desktop Volcano but never different colored portables.

The Veazy is available in standard black but also orange, blue and pink. While new colors are nice not many buy Storz & Bickel vaporizers for their curb appeal. In Cewpins Veazy Vaporizer review many of the comments were about how ugly the device was with one user saying it looks like an electric razor, which I can agree with. The color option is nice for those who have that much of a preference. It will be interesting to see how well they sell especially the pink. Storz & Bickel is known for function over aesthetics.
Usability & Getting Started
The Veazy is one of those that is easy to get started but dialing it in and customizations can be a pain. I guess I have become biased over the years preferring the Mighty+ to the Crafty+ for just this reason. With the Veazy to change temperatures or check battery life you have to pick up your phone, go to a path browser input the URL for the Storz & Bickel web app and then adjust from there. The principle of inputting your herb and powering on certainly is easy as the name implies but by that logic so are the rest of the S&B portable vaporizers. This is not a vaporizer I would give to my grandma and if you don’t want to screw around with an app, go for the Mighty+ or Venty.
Bluetooth / Web App

Besides changing your temperature with the S&B web app, you can easily customize your experience by setting your preferred temperature, adjusting the LED brightness, and enabling or disabling vibration feedback. It also offers a battery-saving charging mode that can be switched on or off, an option to control smartphone vibration and the “Find-MY-VEAZY” feature to help you locate your device quickly should you misplace it. It is important to toggle Permanent Bluetooth to on if you want the find my Veazy feature to work when your Veazy is off. The best Storz & Bickel Web App features are those to preserve battery life. These pay dividends to preserve battery life which is not that good with the Veazy. The most annoying thing about the app is I cannot adjust the temperature to Fahrenheit, adjust the auto shut off timer or see the live temperature. I am thinking the Fahrenheit display will be updated here shortly as this is the Veazy we got direct from Storz & Bickel for this review.
Sessions
The Veazy takes a while to heat up. About 45 seconds to hit temperature and another 15 seconds to get that heat transfer into the herbs. What is nice about the Veazy is how well it retains heat so you can turn it off after a session and come back to it 5 minutes later and the heat up time is a tad quicker. The Veazy is a session vaporizer. This is not one you will turn on to take a puff or two. What kind of gets me about that is the design is small and compact something you would want to compare to like the PAX Flow but this thing ramping up and down is time consuming. My sessions with the Veazy are in the same places I would session with my Mighty+ or Venty. If the Veazy had an on on demand feature then I would take it with me outside the house. The Veazy temperature is set at 356°F by default. This is a pretty good temperature for most users. Personally I like to boost it up to 385°F. Once you set it to your desired temperature you are good to go. Most people don’t need to be adjusting the temperature throughout the session. If you want to get every last drop out there is the boost and super boost so you can hit 410°F but the vapor is not as good at the end of a session and at that heat. The Veazy Chamber size can accommodate up to .25 grams. This is the same as the Venty, Crafty+ and Mighty+ meaning you can use your dosing capsules. The Veazy on the other hand compared to the rest of them performs best with a full pack. On a full pack you can get about 12 – 15 quality draws. The Veazy auto shuts off after two minutes. It is kind of a bummer but this does help battery life and you can easily turn it back on. This was what I found myself doing with my average sessions taking about 3-4 minutes. It does get hot in the hand after a session or two but this is nothing that makes it too hot to handle.
Vapor Quality
The vapor is quality as one would expect from Storz & Bickel but felt like it was missing the body. Oddly I felt the same way about the PAX Flow which we just reviewed. Where the flavor was great, texture was light but the vapor was missing that body and richness. I had to take pretty large hits to get the clouds I wanted. I had better luck milking the herb by taking 20 second pauses between draws but even then was not getting that full body vapor you get from the Venty or Mighty+. Along with those pauses sipping long and slow provided me with the best vapor I could get. There is very little draw resistance which contributes to this lack of depth in the vapor and it stays very flavorful throughout. If the Veazy had the airflow dial (as is on the Venty) I would make it more restrictive. I did notice with a denser pack and longer slower draws, I mentioned above, I was able to get the fuller vapor but ultimately think it is likely due to the Veazy not being as powerful as the Venty.
Battery Life & Charging
This Veazy is powered by a 12 Wh lithium-ion battery, rated at 2400 mAh (5V). It can deliver up to 3A output. This provides enough power for fast, reliable performance while maintaining a compact size. The unfortunate part about the Veazy’s size is the small battery. The battery is internal and charges via a USB-C cable. I don’t know why others are saying the the Veazy charges to 50% in 20 minutes. In 45 minutes of charging our Veazy it got to 25% battery level. That was just using a random USB-C Cable at the office. Using another cable at home, after an hour it was at 40% battery. To get to full battery was 2 ½ hours charge time. Will need to go back and try this out with the charger S&B included but kind of defeats the point as you are likely to charge your vaporizer with whatever cable is available around the house. For 45 minutes of use and a 2 ½ charge time this is one of the worst batteries out there.
Portability
Lightweight and compact , this is where the Veazy shines. This is the only Storz & Bickel portable vaporizer I could toss in my pocket and not really notice it. Even the Crafty+, which is shorter, feels a tad bulky when trying to pocket it. Unfortunately with the long heat up time and poor battery life, it kind of defeats the purpose of how portable this one is.
Veazy Specs
Cleaning

Cleaning the Veazy is more of a pain than one would think. Alot like the Venty, it is not cleaning the chamber that is an issue but taking apart the cooling units which have some nuances and alot of moving parts in disassembling and reassembling. A reason the vapor delivery here is so good is the way the chamber is designed maximizing travel distance for the vapor in such a small area. Another issue (across the board for S&B portable vaporizers) is you don’t see how dirty your cooling unit is getting. The longer you wait to clean it the more build up occurs and sometimes you can be in for quite the surprise with all the build up. The best way to take on cleaning the Veazy is to take apart the cooling unit and boil all the parts in water. If it is stuck, try boiling the cooling unit to loosen up the gunk which will help you take it apart. After you boil it , give each piece a good scrub with some 91% or higher Isopropyl Alcohol , then back in the boiling water or dishwasher. The chamber is rather cut and dry just a Q-Tip with some ISO and you are good to go. As mentioned above the chamber is easy to clean.
Warranty & Trial Period
The Veazy comes with a two year warranty. What is kind of a bummer here is the Veazy certainly will have technical issues on par with the Crafty+ given the smaller battery size and need to connect to an app to control. The Venty and Mighty+ last longer in general than their smaller counterparts. That is not to say many people are not using their Crafty+ from 5-6 years ago. This is why it is important to really take care of your vaporizer and clean it. When you buy the Veazy at To the Cloud Vapor Store you also get a 60 day trial period and lifetime trade ins for store credit.
I am quite conflicted on the Veazy. I enjoy the size and one button ease. I have been using it before bed every night and it’s not bad for $249 but I like the Crafty+ more. It feels like Storz & Bickel wanted to reach more customers with the new colors and lowest price point ever but you really do see why the Venty is $449 compared to the Veazy at $249. It is not the worst vaporizer ever but coming from S&B I sort of just assumed it was going to be excellent. Personally I would not buy the Veazy Vaporizer and this one ranks lowest out of all the Storz & Bickel Portable Vaporizers. The Venty remains the best and do not sleep on the Mighty+ also. Ultimately Storz & Bickel are known for pumping out hit after hit and the Veazy does not stack up with the rest.
