The Puffco price increase officially takes effect on August 19th, 2026. Puffco is raising prices to offset increasing input costs we have been dealing with since 2020 and even more compounded recently by trade wars, tariffs and rising demand for micro chips. Puffco had long been absorbing these costs behind the scene, hoping for a change which never came. We write about this quite alot in our vaporizer reviews when addressing price and how by and large vaporizers, 420 ancillary goods and cannabis as a whole have seen prices decline while housing, transportation, labor and many other costs have nearly doubled.

Vaporizer manufacturers and retailers in their early years of popularity enjoyed the total opposite of what is going on today – Lower costs of production and inflated margins due to lack of competition. Easier barriers to entry offered by technologies like Shopify, Alibaba and Sourcify saw many more newcomers enter the cannabis vaporizer space – driving prices down.  

More competition is good and this has been good for the consumer. If you look at alot of the vaporizers from 2010 – 2015 they are roughly the same price they are today and in some instances cheaper. 

For example the original Puffco Peak was $379 when released in 2018. Today the technology of the Peak (v2) is much improved with the 3D Chamber, better battery life, improved temperature consistency and less atomizer/chamber fragility. All this at only $250 for a much improved device. 

Puffco is not only one of the premier manufacturers in the space with the most quality products. They essentially created the E-Rig market with the release of the OG Peak. Innovation is expensive. Puffco leading in the space and being one of only a few handful of innovators to create and bring new tech to market means they incur costs which imitators and knock offs do not have to.

What the Puffco Price Increase Means for You

All in all, the Puffco price increase of $10 – $30 across Puffco devices will not put the best consumption hardware out of reach to anyone who could access it before. It is also nice to see Puffco not extend these price increases to glass or chambers. 

Good News: A 6-Month 3D Chamber Warranty

Now for the goods news. The Puffco 3D Chambers will now carry a 6 month warranty meaning replacements will be less costly to users. This also is going to be retroactive so if you got a chamber from us 3 months ago, you are now covered with Puffco’s warranty for another 3 months here.

Our prices of course are increasing as well but we will be offering a free Puffco Lanyard with Puffco orders over $150 for the first 30 days of the increase. The Puffco price increase will take effect on August 19th, 2026. You may be able to get some last minute purchases in before everyone is able to adjust their prices but if you want to steer clear of unauthorized vendors if you want to get the Puffco warranty. Also any trade in offers we have pending prior to 8/19/2026 will be increased to reflect the difference in the Puffco price raise.
