The Arizer XQ2 is a desktop vaporizer for herb and flower which has a more modern feel and look than it’s predecessor the Arizer Extreme Q. The XQ2 heats via convection pushing hot air through your herb which sits in a cyclone bowl above the heating element. You can utilize the vaporizer by whip, balloon and even turn it into an aromatherapy diffuser so relaxing with some potpourri.Made by Canadian standout Arizer, it is simple yet quality and delivers good vapor that you would expect of a mid tier desktop vaporizer from Arizer.
Build
The XQ2 has alot of moving parts. The new XQ2 base is made from a sturdy heat rated plastic which leads to its aluminum alloy cylinder housing. The XQ2 unit is heated via it’s ceramic heating element and accompanying neon LED lights add some funky appeal.The Cyclone Bowl and bag adapter glass piece are made from 100% borosilicate glass and the 3 foot whip is made of silicone.
Function
The XQ2 functions via convection heating and has a large stand off distance between the herb and heating element. As mentioned above you can vape using whip or bag. The XQ2 adds some refinements to the functionality which you can program using the settings button on the user interface. The XQ2 remote provides additional ability to operate without needing to change directly on the unit.
Session
The ideal session with the Arizer XQ2 is going to be 100% at home. While the unit is made of sturdy alloy, it is not something you want to be lugging around with all the glass moving parts. Given the unit takes a long time to prepare it is certainly a session vaporizer and you will be sitting down to enjoy a good amount of herb whether solo or with some buddies. The XQ2 is not a unit you turn on and off for a quick hit like you could have with the now discontinued Herbalizer.

Lightweight & Straightforward
While the XQ2 has alot of moving parts , it is lightweight and easy to use. You can pick it up with one hand and move it from the downstairs kitchen table to the bedside night stand. The user interface and remote making turning on and changing temps about as easy as can be.
The XQ2 is the perfect marriage of style and function in this regard. There is no major guesswork to nailing down the perfect session. Just pack, heat and inhale.
Whip, Bag, or Aromatherapy
There are three ways to use the Arizer XQ2 Vaporizer offers. The whip lets you enjoy your herb by drawing at your own convenience, however this is easily passed from buddy to pal with the whip elbow swiveling in 360 degrees. The Whip also serves great for those who like to take advantage of water purification via running the whip to a hydratube.
The XQ2 vapor bags offer ample volume for those who want to take advantage of the three speed fan on XQ2. The bags do require using the adapter piece and closer supervision over the whip but are better suited for social events or using the XQ2 in groups.
The aromatherapy glass dish is great for yoga or kicking back and reading a book. The wide open dish combined with the low heat emits fragrant scents into the air while you relax. The lowest fan setting is also ideal here in carrying the scents throughout the room.
Enhanced Controls
The XQ2 control panel allows you to program pre set temperatures for the 1,2, and 3 buttons which are on the remote. You can adjust the neon LED lights or turn them off altogether, switch between the 3 fan speeds and program an auto shut off to power the unit down after a certain amount of time. Of course you get the [standard on most vaporizers] ability to change between Celsius and Fahrenheit, turn off noise alerts, etc.
Sessions & Heat Up
The XQ2 heats your herb via convection heating. The unit itself will reach temperature rather fast,  425°F in 83 seconds and has a range of 122°F to 500°F so you can really vape hot if you want.
While it will hit temp in a rapid manner, one must wait an additional two minutes for optimal heat transfer to take place given the stand off distance between the herb and the heating element.
On a full cyclone bowl one can expect around 20 hits if using the smaller chamber and about 35 if filling the large end of the chamber.
The cyclone bowl capacity is very large for both ends with the smaller capacity permitting .4 grams and the larger able to accommodate one full gram of ground herb or flower.
Vapor Quality
The XQ2 provides good vapor quality of what one would expect in a mid tier desktop vaporizer. For best results fill the chamber full but do not pack too tight. If using smaller amounts of herb, it is recommend to draw for lengthened periods of time.

What’s up everyone….Kronik352 here, and I purchased and have been using this thing for about 3 or 4 months now…and I LOVE IT!!!This thing RIPS n ROARS!! I have used the Volcano before, and yes it is nice, but it’s also SUPER expensive…..THIS THING RIGHT … HERE….works just as well as the Volcano…for a fraction of the price….I won’t be needing another Vaporizer for quite a loooooong time.

My boyfriend got this for Valentine’s Day. I love To The Cloud’s customer service so I told him where I always shop for my vapes. This vaporizer is incredible. I barely go through herb for multiple sessions. It heats up in under 6 minutes although … it does have a learning curb. There’s many attachments so you can figure out which method you prefer. There’s enough Youtube videos to help you. I’d get this again for sure!
