About

The Ardent FX Decarboxylator  will turn you into an edibles chef in no time. The Ardent FX  is an easy to use all in one cannabis kitchen and will have you pumping out an array of edibles, tinctures and topicals. The Ardent FX is the best herbal infusion and edible product currently on the market and can even bake in the device if need be. Giving it an edge on the predcessor the Ardent NOVA

  • Build

The Ardent FX is built with a strong dishwasher safe casing. The inside where you decarboxylate and infuse is made of stainless steel ensuring clean quality decarboxylation and infusion.

  • Function

The Ardent FX has three functions: Decarboxylation, Infusing and Baking. If using the Ardent FX for all three steps you would place your flower in the unit, run a Decarb cycle for either THC or CBD, add in your fats for an infusion cycle and then add in your concoction which you wish to bake.

  • Session

The set it and forget it function make the Ardent FX ideal for decarbing to baking. The ideal session would be making some edibles on a Sunday watching the game and letting the Ardent FX do the work. The proprietary algorithms ensure you will be getting the best extracts for up to four ounces.

  • AC Charging Base
  • Carrying Case

Features

  • Large Capacity

The Ardent FX boasts a much larger cavity for your materials from the older Ardent NOVA. The FX can decarboxylate up to 4 ounces in a single session, but also works for small doses. We made some coconut oil for our gummies which only used a gram of herb.

The large capacity makes the Ardent FX ideal for the commercial edible chef or the novice who just wants to make some butter for cookies from time to time.

  • Easy to Use

The Ardent FX is easy to use with set and forget controls. The Ardent FX utilizes proprietary settings to take care of your infusion or decarb with the press of a few buttons. From there it will let you know when you are ready to roll.

With 4 settings and one main power button, you will be a pro using the Ardent FX from your first time onward.

  • Decarboxylation

The Ardent FX provides precision Decarboxylation. This process is  needed to release the cannabinoid (THC,CBG,CBD)  potential of your cannabis flower.  The Ardent FX has two proprietary settings which let  you prepare your herbs for specialty applications.

A1 – this setting lets you decarb for your CBG and THC

A2 – this setting lets you decarb for optimizing your CBD

At the end of the A1 or A2 decarboxylation cycles the FX’s power button will flash red letting you know the cool down process has started. This takes about 2 hours.

  • Do I need to decarboxylate ?

To optimize the most of your material the decarb cycle is essential. Without it your end product  will only contain 25% of the active cannabinoids. While when using a vaporizer or smoking , your herb will be heated to a temperature so hot it will decarboxylate immediately. However when preparing your cannabis for edibles you must decarb for a longer time at a lower temperature to convert the THCA strain into THC. This is the reason if you eat raw buds nothing will happen. Decarboxylation will begin at 225 °F after about 30 minutes and the ardent Nova will fully decarboxylate in around 2 hours.

  • Infuse

Once your decarb is complete you can take your oil or butter and place them in with your decarbed product for infusion. Ardent recommends one once of fats (oils, creams, butters) to one gram of flower or concentrates. You can adjust accordingly if you are looking to go “To the Moon” with your edibles or tinctures.

The infusion process will begin with the Ardent FX heating up to 176°F with the proprietary settings ending the infusion between 2-3 hours depending on how full your unit is.

Once the infusion process is complete you have your canna butter or oil and are ready to use it in whatever you see fit.

  • Bake

The Adent FX goes a step further with the baking function. This option is great to have for someone who isn’t super handy in the kitchen or may not even have access to the kitchen.

This further makes the Ardent FX a useful portable stove for camping trips or using for some infused ramen in your dorm room.

The Ardent FX baking setting will hit 300 °F and will automatically power down once you are doing making anything in the device.

  • Cleaning the Ardent FX

Another added benefit of the Ardent FX is how easy it is to clean the device. The Stainless Steel chamber can be washed out with dish soap or thrown in the dishwasher. Cleaning is about as easy as making your edibles.

  • Dimensions

The FX is lightweight at only 2 lbs.  it is not a wieldy device you will need to use alot of muscle into taking down , cleaning or putting away. The materials used make the Ardent FX lightweight but sturdy while at  9.1 inches in height the FX has the capacity to make some serious infusions ergonomic and hassle free.

  • Warranty

The Ardent FX comes with a one year manufacturer warranty from Ardent. You will need to register your device upon receipt.

Well. For one thing, be aware that you are paying over $300 for a device that the company refuses to give you a book for. You get only a download to scroll thru. Seriously. Scroll. Also no grinder, that’s just crap, but only a couple of bucks and who cares. I’ll never buy from ardent again. What crap customer service. Cloud vapor shipped quick, but again, no grinder. I’m so disappointed and I paid a fortune. I’m disabled and can’t even read a pdf.
